The Our Scottish Borders identity is a regional identity which can support and endorse your own organisation’s identity, as a mark of pride, credibility or origin. It acts as a tangible symbol that the organisation plays an active and proud part in the Scottish Borders region.
Countryside Kitchens, Kelso
Countryside Kitchens has utilised the extensive free image bank to illustrate outdoor activities that are on offer in Kelso, where the company is based. The images add another dimesion to their site which attracts people from all over the Scottish Borders and further afield to visit their showrooms and the town of Kelso.
Countryside Kitchens is a family-run business. The first kitchen for which husband and wife team Jerry and Shona Ponder pooled their talents to create was their own. In the 30 years since that initial project, the two have continued to combine their technical know-how and creative flair to devise and deliver a further 2,500 kitchen designs.

Borders Machinery Ring
Galashiels based Borders Machinery Ring (BMR) has used the ‘Your Inspiration’ brand on its website as an additional marketing tool in the promotion of the Borders, as well as providing the company with a clear marketable identity.
BMR, the first Ring to be formed in the UK in February 1987 by 23 farmers and contractors, has the aim of rationalising labour, machinery and input costs. There are now 9 rings in Scotland and 15 in England and Wales. The company’s growth offers its members a constantly increasing range of benefits to help sustain and improve business viability.

Earlston-based Intelligent Buildings has used the brand and an image from the image bank within its web site and other promotional initiatives.
As well as demonstrating its pride in its location, the use of the brand helps to show that the business is an integral part of the region and hopefully to attract staff and customers.

Selkirk-based Vantage Events used the brand, colour palette and images from the image bank in the web site and promotional materials which it created for the Borders Banquet, a 10-day annual celebration of the best restaurants, chefs and locally produced ingredients available in the Scottish Borders. The Borders Banquet is a joint Scottish Borders Council and Scottish Enterprise economic development project. Visit www.bordersbanquet.co.uk for more information.
